two houses

Two houses = two stories.

The white chalet is a time-teller (a clock which no longer works), some houses light up and are welcoming in the darkness. They are wired even though dinosaurs hide on the roof.
The dark house is woven and embroidered – there is a golden fish and a broken heart – in Swedish it tells us that loneliness is at least containable…

– such is life and sometimes we cannot choose.

  1. Hej Ingrid!… Thanks for finding your way here and commenting. My grandmother had a little “weathervane house” with two figures, I loved it when I was little. As you’re Swedish you know what the bottom right object is : ) – (An embroidered wall hanging with the added wooden heart message and children’s beads) ….Also the white log cabin has a ticking clock and lights up which isn’t visible in this photo. : )
