Hur går du till väga då du “kopierar”?
Printar du ut bilderna och arbetar ovanpå en väldigt blek utskrift?
Är “kopiorna” gjorda i dator eller för hand med penna och färg?

@ Per Ölund Hej Per…Alla i denna serie är målat med artist’s quality engelskt akvarellfärg på hand gjort akvarell papper. Jag skisser med blyertspenna efter fotografiet i frågan och sedan målar jag direkt på det utspände pappret, (dvs. en av den gamla metoderna.) Jag använder enbart ögat – ingen printat underskrift eller så. Dom flesta bilder är dubbelt så stora som originalen.. men det beror lite på, sas.
(Per’s just asking me how I made this image. He thought I might have perhaps used a printed image from a photograph and then painted colour over the top. No..I don’t work like that. I just sketch in lightly by eye with a 2B pencil and then paint the image directly onto the watercolour paper. I don’t use white gouache, only watercolour, which means you work with the unpainted paper being the lightest tone. Most of these watercolours are roughly double the size of the orginal photographs…though some are quite a bit larger…It depends a little on the quality of the original print and the picture/idea I might I have in my head before I start.

okay, thanks for explaining. How much time did it take for you to paint the weddign picture? Nyfiken. Själv känner jag mig som en idiot då jag spenderar timmar som blir till dagar som blir till veckor för att åstadkomma 3 minuter av musik. Förresten, tack för att du delar med dig av dina bilder.

It took quite a while as I was doing other things in between… I can’t work quite as hard/long hours as I used to do. Also it’s a good idea to keep letting the paper dry out completely inbetween some of the colour washes…
@Per Helt OK.. Jag är bara glad att du säga vad du tycker här. Glad att höra du försätta med din musik och dina bilder med hoppas jag, och förresten känner dej inte som en idiot… Allt ta sin tid… speciellt om det är ny mjuk varor man ska lära sig att använda :) Lycka till, det låter kul!
